First of all, if your distance to the server is significant this could have an effect on the latency of the page, but if this is not the case you can try these options out.
You can enable 'opcache' under the 'Select PHP Version' in cPanel, this could help with any issues.
Also, WordPress offers W3 Total Cache, https://wordpress.org/plugins/w3-total-cache/ . You can give these a go and see how it works out.
